A mainstay of the Protoss army, the venerable Protoss Zealot is back with an improved charge ability that allows it to close in on the enemy at incredible speeds, as demonstrated in this Starcraft 2 developer’s video. Zealots were easily the most powerful starting units out of the three, and joint zealot rush on a 3v3 was almost unstoppable. The official website describes:

“Some zealots have even developed the ability to turn their body into pure energy for a few microseconds. This allows them to move at lightning-fast speeds and strike suddenly against an enemy that thinks they are out of range.”
